Reminder to self

Reality is matter of perception. I remember hearing this line on a TV shown years ago and immediate striking me and staying with me since, because I learned is true.

When I first saw the fog this morning, my immediate reaction and feelings were of rejection, after all, I will always prefer light and brightness, but by the time I hit the river with my bike, all I could do was to stop and snap some shots, capture that moment.

Hours later I was in front my computer reviewing and retouching two of my favourite pictures I’ve taken around the city in recent times.

You make what you want of what you have, and sometimes even far than ideal conditions can lead to great results. Reminder to self.
